I have the Roku streaming stick 4K with the voice remote.  Lately, it'll turn on the tv and then it just stops working.  The volume works but to navigate to any of the apps doesn't work.  It's like it's frozen.  I've replaced the batteries.  I rebooted and repaired the remote to the tv.  I've tried restarting the remote.  It'll work for a while but then we turn the tv off for a while (eg. while at work or overnight) it'll do it all over again when we turn the tv back on.

The TV controls are separate from the other controls (unless you set up the remote for CEC control of the TV), so it's possible for the TV controls to work and the others to not work.  It's likely that the remote is losing its connection to the stick, but what's causing this I couldn't say.  Have you tried pairing the remote to the stick again?
