My remote stopped working. I’ve tried all the fixes. NOTHING. do I just have to buy a new system every month???

Can you please specify the issue you are experiencing? What Roku model device are you using? What troubleshooting steps have you taken so far to resolve the issue?

The remote will turn on the tv, won't go to the home page.  SN C237CH746043, I've changed the batteries, removed the "stick" from the tv, unplugged the unit.  What next?

The "point anywhere" remotes that come with Roku Streaming Stick and Streaming Stick+ control the tv power and volume directly via infrared.  This is separate from the control of the Roku itself, which is done via wifi direct.

Try disconnecting the power from the Roku for a few seconds then plugging it back in. It should go to the Roku home screen when it finishes booting up on its own without any input from the remote.  If it doesn't get to the home screen, this points to problems other than the remote, so post back because that will indicate other things to try.

If the Roku doesn't respond to the remote while you are viewing the home screen, you may just need to re-pair your remote to your Roku.  Video from Roku re how to pair point-anywhere remote:
