Remote not working or responding

Hey,

I got my Roku express earlier this year and recently it hasn’t been working correctly. I will point the remote at the device like I’ve always done and it will not let me move or pick anything. I haven’t been able to go pass the Home Screen. I haven’t even been able to connect to the internet because of how it doesn’t respond. Any suggestions? I already turned it off and on and unplugged it and nothing worked.

Did you replace the batteries in the remote?  Does the light on the Express flash when you press a button on the remote?

Hey! I put in brand new batteries today and nothing. The light does flash when I press the button but it’s often delayed.
