My simple Roku remote will not connect to my Roku 2 since a recent power outage. I have tried taking the batteries out of the remote, unplugging the Roku, restarting it, and putting new batteries in when the hole screen comes back on. The remote is firing, I can see the infared light firing when I push the buttons of the remote (when I look at it through the camera on my phone). I have had this remote for about a month, as I threw the last one for the same issue. I would hate think that I need to get a new remote every time the power goes out.
