Remote is making a high pitch noise and replacing batteries did not help.  Any suggestions? 
I noticed this volume button changes the channel and power button does something completely different as well.

Update:  Remote has completely stopped working and still making the noise

Please reply here with the serial number of the Roku device associated with the affected remote. It can be located at the back or underneath the player itself.
