my remote that came with the main box has no battery. I use a charging cord. But it won’t turn on without a cord plugged in and flashes full charge across the screen. What can I do to fix this annoying issue?

If you are experiencing any of these issues with your Roku Voice Remote:

• Won't charge
• Only powers on when plugged into an outlet
• Doesn't turn on or work
• Not holding a charge (e.g., loses charge quickly)

Here's what you can try:

• Test with different power outlets, micro USB cables, and chargers.
• Reset your remote: Press and hold the Back/pairing button and Home buttons simultaneously for about 20 seconds.
