Re: Remote batteries runs low quickly

Hello @RokuDanny-R

I tried to respond to your question in this post but now the reply button does not show in that discussion and I can't reply to you there so my only option to communicate with you in this discussion.

No, I still have no way of Private messaging you. I have no mail folder and I do not see in the settings where I can turn it off or on.

If you still have my pm's from recently you will see that you asked me to do a update procedure and I did that but the batteries have already drained to zero on a device that for the most part isn't even powered on. So the reset did not fix my problem.

If you can you may have to email me so we can discuss because it seems to be harder and harder to communicate via these forms with no pm option and no way to reply to your questions in other discussions.

Again, Thank in advance for your help in this matter

Re: Remote batteries runs low quickly

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the posts.

If you are experiencing an issue with remote battery drain, please send me a PM (private message) with your Roku account email address, and include the serial number of the Roku device from Settings>System>About along with a summary of the issue you are experiencing. I'll be able to assist you further from there.

Thanks,
Danny

Re: Remote batteries runs low quickly

I did PM you and now the PM option is gone from my account. Post on other messages are now closed out so I cannot respond via those post. How can I address the battery drain issue without having the ability to follow up on previous PM's when the PM option has been removed?

Re: Remote batteries runs low quickly

Danny, why are you making this so difficult.  A bunch of people are having the same problem, which means this is the tip of the iceberg and I bet this is a hug issue you are not fessing up to, and we all want a resolution here.  You want us to PM without instructions and people are having problems with that anyway. Please just give us the solution or a better way to contact you.  Thanks - Greg

I am also experiencing this issue. i can't PM the admins (yet?) so adding myself to the list here.

Re: Remote batteries runs low quickly

Good Morning,

I am having similar issues.  I am a new user, so I am trying to get enough community credibility in order to send the Roku Employees a message.  I completely understand the SPAM issue.

Thanks!

Re: Remote batteries runs low quickly

@RokuDanny-R

Hello Danny,

It has now been almost a week since I tried follow up with you on this issue. I PM'd you a couple weeks ago about the battery drain issue and you responded that I should do an update. I did the update and have found that it has not helped the battery drain issue at all on my system. For some reason the pm option has been removed from my account and I can no longer pm you, or anyone for that matter, to try to see what the next steps are in resolving this issue. How do I communicate with your or another moderator to work thru these issues?

Thanks in advance,

Re: Remote batteries runs low quickly

@RokuDanny-R

I have the same issue with my remote having less than 1 week of battery life. I cannot PM you either for some reason. Can you help?

Thanks,

Will
