Hello my remote back button is stuck. I've unplugged the Roku express twice and let it reboot. I've taken the batteries out of the remote and it is still hitting a phantom back button. I can barely get control of the remote to make it to the screen to do a factory reset. Can someone please reach out to me? Thanks

Try strumming the remote buttons like guitar back and forth, up and down to dislodge the stuck button?

Hi tivo, the back button is being pressed on the Roku even when the batteries are out of the remote.

Can someone from Roku please help me with this? The device is useless and a little over a year old. My Roku 2 lasted more than 5 years with no issues.

If your Roku (what model Roku is it, by the way?) is receiving a Back command when the remote batteries are removed, that says the Back signal is not coming from that remote.

Do you have another remote for that Roku whose Back button may be stuck or being pressed -- crammed beside a seat cushion perhaps?

Same question re a tablet or phone using the Roku app as a remote control.
