My RC06 remote allows me to listen on headphones, but the volume buttons on the side have no effect. The TV displays the volume level (25), but this will not change. What can I do?

What Roku model device are you using your remote with?

I am using a Roku 2, model 2720EU with an RC06 remote. The indicator light flashes whenever I press a volume button and the volume level is displayed on the TV screen - but the volume level in the headphones is unchanged. 

I am hoping you can help please.

Thanks for the post.

Please be aware that the Roku 2 (2720) is an older Roku device that is no longer under warranty. It's possible that the remote and device may simply be on its way out.
