Remote Model RC-EL5 Draining Batteries

The batteries on my Roku remote model RC-EL5 are draining almost every other day with MINIMAL use. This remote controls a TCL 55” tv. None of your other threads have a solution that works for me. I have quality batteries, reset the tv, and made sure to stay current on updates. A solution would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Remote Model RC-EL5 Draining Batteries

Sorry, but you have to take it up with tv manufacturer, roku only supplies UI for the roku tv.

My remote has the same issue. The remotes are defective and roku is not taking any responsibility for their product.

The RC-EL5 remote is a Roku Tv remote, you need to take it up with Roku tv manufacturer!!  Roku only supplies the UI for it.
