There's no software fix if that's what you're asking. If you'd like to take it apart and try to clean the button (or see if it's damaged), that might help.
Many people seem to report the same button failing. I don't know if it just gets more use than the other buttons and wears out faster or if it's some kind of design flaw, but it does seem weird.
