My remote will not work at all.  No volume, no changing of channels, no nothing.  What can I do? The TV is stuck on the Roku screen.

My roku remote constantly stops working when in use. It freezes and none of the buttons work. I have tried new batteries and resetting it. I have unplugged and turned of the streaming stick. No luck. When I do this it works for about 30 seconds and freezes again. Extremely frustrating. Ready to through roku in the trash and switch to Amazon firestick.

       Unplug the Roku wait 10 seconds plug it back in. That will reset the unit. If it still does it, take the batteries out of your remote, rub them against your body and reinstall them. If that doesn't work, replace your batteries with fresh AAA batteries.
