I bought a Roku RC-AL2 remote to replace the original remote for my Roku 3.
It work fine for a while then started going through a set of batteries in less than a week several times.
Various buttons have not been working correctly and the up/down volume buttons did not adjust the volume. I have had to resort to using a cheaper remote from amazon that does not have a TV power button so I now need to use 2 remotes. I thought the OEM Roku remote would be better.
I have Roku Ultras on my other TV and those work fine.
Any options to fix this remote?
Thanks for the post.
Did you purchase the remote through Roku directly, or did you purchase the remote from another retailer? If you purchased the remote through Roku, please feel free to provide us with your order number and we can pass it along to our Support team who can assist you further. Otherwise we would recommend contacting the retailer you purchased with as the remote may be defective.
Thanks,
Danny
