Our Roku Remote is not working. I tried various options that you wrote. Still doesn't work at all. TV freezes.
Also our ROKU stick that attaches to TV is very warm to the touch. It is Model 3811X.
Is this a common problem? What is the solution.
thanks, Susan
I have the same problem. This is my second Roku stick. The first one did not last very long, the remote stopped working. I thought maybe something happened to it so I got a new one. Now the same issue is coming up. Got new batteries. The remote is paired with the TV. It turns it on, but will not scroll or respond to ok button. The volume works and on and off works, but not the voice, scrolling or OK. Super frustrating to have a second one not work. I have unplugged the Roku Stick with not luck.

The problem is not with batteries. I found the problem was with a designed this remote and device. I've never seen like this in my life. Scammers
My remote will not turn on my bedroom TV! Screen went black, mid program last night, I have tried disconnecting my Roku adapter, wait 10 sec, reconnect! Nothing! I tried re-pairing my remote...still nothing! Screen is still black! My Roku TV, in living rm, is working fine, so my wifi feed is working! Now I am flustered & confused! I am an old, disabled newbie, & am at a loss, as what to do next!
