Power cable wireless antenna

I damaged my new power cable with the antenna, and purchased a new one in the Roku site. However my Roku remote will not connect to my streaming stick now. I see my menu but can’t control anything with the remote. Any tips to sync them?

I worked it out, there a pairing button on back of remote behind battery cover. That solved the paring problem
