When I press the button to pair my remote, the light does not come on. I have replaced the batteries, I have unplugged power source according to your troubleshooting instructions. This remote isn't even a year old. It was working and all of a sudden it quit.
I know it's a basic question to ask, but needs to be asked anyway. Are the batteries inserted correctly? Some Roku remotes have the batteries placed the same way, while others alternate the way they are inserted. Some have the + and - ends in the same direction, while others are the opposite. I've made the mistake on more than one occasion because I didn't look close at the remote.
I have the same problem. Remote was working, then stopped. Batteries are new. batteries are inserted correctly, Roku stick powered down and then back up. Remote will not pair. Pairing light does not light on enhanced remote. I have 6 Rokus in my house, the WR001 purchased ~February 2021 is the only one giving trouble. What is the fix?
Hey @CamphowzeROK
Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Please reply here with the serial number of the Roku device associated with the affected remote. You can see it at the back or underneath the player itself.
Once we have the information needed, we'll be able to forward it to our support team for further assistance.
All the best,
