Today my Ultra updated to version 10.5.0 build 4198-c2 and now shortcuts beep and do not launch the channels they were set up to launch neither can they be programmed.

I like Roku streaming devices but having purchased an Amazon Firestick for when I'm travelling, I must say that I am impressed with it and may ditch Roku.

We would be more than happy to look further into this issue for you.

What specific Roku model do you have? What channels are their shortcut buttons set to? Have you tried reconfiguring the buttons to your wanted channels or different channels for troubleshooting purposes?

My Roku worked just fine yesterday.

Today the update to OS 10.5 notice appeared.

Remote suddenly does not respond.

@Cookease, try pairing your remote again.  Press and hold the little button in the battery compartment until the green light starts to flash and then unplug the power from your Ultra for a few seconds and plug it back in.  Give it time to restart and find the remote.  You may want to put in a new set of batteries or even try a new set before you try to pair it again.

The rc81 is very old 3600 stick remote, it doesn't have personal programmable shortcut keys.
