Not Connecting Too Wifi, Can't Control Roku T.V With App On Android Phone

For some reason my Roku T.V is listed as off or asleep on the device list when my wife has already turned it on with the remote, not sure why the app is acting up cause its happening with both of our phones. We've done everything from uninstalling the app, logout,  login to our account & nothing is working.

The Roku app on the phone can only "see" a Roku TV or device that is already connected to the same home network that the phone is connected to.

Since you have the tv remote, go to Roku menu path Settings > Network > About.  Does it show your Status as "Connected"?
