New Roku remote will not pair w 3900X streaming device

Purchased a (OEM) Standard Replacement Remote for Roku TV, Compatible with TCL/Hisense/Hitachi/Haier/RCA/Philips/LG/Element/Sanyo ROKU TV. I have an element tv and my Roku streaming stick is a 3900X black. I followed roku troubleshooting and nothing worked. Any suggestions welcome. Thank u.

That remote is only for Roku tv's, which are tv's with a roku built-in. Your tv is non-roku tv, but has a roku device connected to it. It will never work with that remote. The 3900 roku is an express roku, it comes with IR roku remote, but it can be paired with wifi voice roku remote. Roku tv IR remote, and stand alone roku like the express use two different IR codes, they are not copatible with each other, sorry. Get a cheap universal remote that has roku code in it from target, walmart or the dollar store. A universal remote would probably control youe element brand of tv.
