I lost my remote so I got a new one but it wouldnt pair cause I thought my stick was connecting to my old xfinitywifi so did a hard reset on my streaming stick + an im at the let's get started language an cant gt past it my new remote won't pair an I can't figure out how to do it on a app

What remote did you get? Are you sure you got one that is compatible with the Roku Stick?

IR remotes will work set top boxes, but they won't work with Sticks. So, get the model number off the packaging for the remote, as well as the model number that's under the batteries in the battery compartment.

Remote is compatible for sure I jus dont gt it at all

Assuming you have either the Roku Voice Remote or the Roku Enhanced Voice Remote (the only two that will work with that model Stick).
