To whom it may concern,
My remote seems to have stopped working all together. I have changed batteries twice in an hour, I see no responsiveness by TV or Roku box.
I need to see if I'm still warranty. Any way I can check?

I'm experiencing same issues and also hoping for a solution. I've had this for years and suddenly stopped working. I changed the batteries, but for the first time there is no typical light on the back for resetting like there used to be. So holding it down doesn't/can't do anything. Is the remote simply worn out and broken?
Apparently the repairing was all that was needed; I got a strong green light first time I pressed the back and home buttons and the remote is working again without any issues.
I have a RC-GZ1 remote. When using remote I have to press some selector buttons very hard to get them to work. I have another ROKU on another TV and the remote works a light touch.
