Need a better remote with solid buttons because the rubber is trash

Need a remote with plastic buttons or something because I push the button 10 times before it works. That’s also with me holding it up moving it around until it works. I’m no more than 10 feet from my tv. #westinghouse

Roku supplies the operating system, which includes Roku functions, for use in "Roku TV"s.  The manufacturer provides the hardware.

Adding to what @makaiguy said, you can get a Roku Voice Remote ($20) or a Roku Enhanced Voice Remote ($30) that will connect via WiFi Direct to the Roku TV. I use one on my Roku TV. Since it's a WiFi Direct connection, it doesn't need line of sight, like the IR remote you have that came with the TV.

The buttons are fine on mine. I can hold the remote anywhere, not even point it if I don't want to, and it works.

Or, you can find a universal remote at Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, or other places that works with Roku TV. Just make sure Roku TV is in the list of supported devices.
