Has anyone had problems with their remote working after awhile? Mine is less than a year old. New batteries don't help make it work. Can anyone help with this? Does anyone read these? Should I buy another Roku remote? Thank you.
I have a Roku 2 with the same issue. When I press the handheld device, I see on the controller the light blinks, which lets me know there is a signal between the two devices. However, I am unable to stream any of the the services. Quit working last night.

Please be aware that the Roku 2 (2720) is an older Roku device that is no longer under warranty. It's possible that the remote may simply be on its way out. did you try re sync the remote to your ROKU?
open remote back
press button in lower RH corner until the green light flashes.
unplug the power to your ROKU for 10 seconds and plug back in while watching on the TV
during power up it will re sync the remote
if this does not work, I have no idea other than trying a new remote.
