I have to replace AAA batteries every 3-4 days. Can someone please help me?

That's really unexpected behavior. Some other users have reported issues with remotes draining batteries quickly (I've never experienced that) but those have almost always (or always) been WiFi Direct remotes. The Express uses an IR remote. There is no WiFi connection to maintain. The Express remote is a simple remote that uses infrared signal (IR) to tell the Roku what to do, and the signals only activate when a button is pressed. 

If it was a stuck button, you should get a response from your Roku all the time, as it would try to scroll up, down, left, right, or whatever the stuck button was telling it to do. You haven't reported that, so I'd rule out stuck button.

With no battery usage until a button is pressed, your batteries should last a good long time.

With this information in mind, there are a couple of approaches that come to mind.

One is to confirm that you have a Roku Express. What is the model number? Settings > System > About

The other is to focus on the batteries you are using. If you do have an Express, the most likely reason for batteries to need replacing is bad batteries. Most likely, you bought a pack of batteries, possibly a large pack, and are pulling the replacement batteries from the same packaging. If the batteries are from a bad lot, they could all easily be bad and only work for a short time.

That makes a difference. The 3931, as you have now indicated, is a Roku Express+, which is not the same thing as a Roku Express. The behavior in the remote now makes more sense. That doesn't mean it's expected behavior; it's not. Rather, it means there are now things to check regarding it that wouldn't be checked on the remote for an Express.

That is a WiFi Direct remote, and pairs with a device, unlike the IR remote used by an Express. So, let's get a little bit more info, now that we have a different situation than we originally thought.

I've never had issues such as described. I've had Roku devices since 2010, and have had almost exclusively WiFi Direct remotes since 2013, when the first non-Stick devices to use them were released. My lack of experience with this issue means that other will probably do a better job of helping. Perhaps @RokuDanny-R will stop by and offer some help.

In the meantime, you may want to do some network research, as this may be network related. What channel is your network utilizing? Settings > Network > About

Also, try starting your network. If it's operating less than optimally, it may be difficult for the remote to maintain a connection, and having to work much harder than normal as a result. I'm guessing here, but it may be worth a shot and costs nothing more than a few minutes of time.
