The roku tv IR remotes could work with each depending on the brands. But neither roku tv remote would work with stand alone roku device connected to non-roku tv. If this non-roku tv is lg, vizio or dynex it could have its tv power and volume controlled by roku tv remote but nothing else.
Roku tv's use two different code seyts for all the roku brands like tcl, insignia, heier, hitachi, element, philips, jvc, magnavox, westinghouse, onn, and sanyo all use the same code set. Where Hisense & Sharp Roku tv brands use a different code set then the others listed above. All brands can be paired to the roku wifi remotes, but only one at a time. A wifi roku remote would never control more then one roku at a time.
