Are there any Roku players that only use an RF remote? We just purchased two of the new Recipes 4K+ players which apparently use very common IR and every time we adjust the pedestal fan in our bedroom the Roku responds by either pausing the show we're watching or waking up the TV in the middle of the night.

Not even sure what the point of pairing the remote to the player is since both remotes will control each Roku.

Roku sticks are RF only, no IR at all, at least for the roku commands they still use IR to control your tv. Roku just released the Streaming stick 4k:

Although if you were to unplug the roku stick from power, its remote would start emitting roku IR commands instead of wifi, until the stick was plugged back in.
