I have the hisense Roku tv. We were watching tv and it all of a sudden turned off. When I got onto the Roku mobile app to turn it back on it says to “wake” my device. I’ve tried it several times and it gives me an error message and says to make sure my tv us plugged in and on the network (which it is). We cannot get the tv to turn back on and out of sleep mode. We’ve tried buying actual remotes and programming them and nothing it working. The tv has a red dot at the bottom so I know it has power. I’ve reset my WiFi and phones and I cannot figure this out.

Are you sure the remote you purchased works with Roku TV? Not all Roku remotes work with Roku TV, particularly the IR remotes.

Yes, the box said it was preprogrammed for Roku TVs.
Tru unplugging the RokuTV for a few minutes. After you plug it back it, look for a physical button on the TV to turn it back on. (May need to press and hold it for a few seconds). I think the Hisense power/menu button is on the left or middle underside of the TV.
I have no picture and no sound, just simply black screen, not even a menu???
Hey @nh_handyman

These are the most common reasons you may not see the picture on your TV:
