Hi,
I’ve searched the topics and have not found anything that relates to my question. Can the Home Button behavior be changed to take you to the apps grid directly and not to the Roku Home list? I find that 99.9% of the time I just want to close the current app and open another and find it annoying that I have to press Home and Right-arrow first. Perhaps make Home Button Behavior an option to choose what you want it to do.
I have a Roku Ultra (4670RW) on version 10.0.0n- build 4198-46
Thanks
Gary
I thought that's what it did. If you press it twice it will take you to the menu, no? Either way, try using the Back button instead of Home.
When I press th Home button it takes me to this screenshot.
I would like it go to the App grid like this.
To me it makes more sense since most of the time I don’t do anything in the Home menu. Using the back button usually takes you back in the app and asks if you want to exit and sometimes wants to confirm exit. Pressing Home twice doesn’t do anything different.
That's not how mine works. If I'm in a channel and I press Home I'm taken to the Home Screen with the channel I just exited highlighted. Are you using some kind of universal remote? Is the behavior the same for all channels/apps?
Hmmm, that’s interesting. I’m using the remote that came with Roku Ultra that I bought on Black Friday last year. It is model RC-AL9. Behavior is the same in any App/channel.
Well now mine's doing what yours is. I know when I checked yesterday it did what I wrote. I don't know what to make of it especially since mine hasn't updated recently. I almost always use the Back button to exit a channel, so maybe I never noticed it before or maybe when I was checking yesterday I just thought I was using Home and I was really using Back???
