Hi there 

I have a Roku Streaming Stick+ and a voice remote. I'm trying to set up the remote to control the power and volume. 

It's a very cheap RCA smart TV that according to the manual uses Remote code 007F (NEC). 

A Google search brings up people looking for this same remote code for Coby, Curtis, Sony and Viano TVs. 

I've tried all those brands in the Roku pairing menu, and about 15 others with no luck. Any ideas? Is there any master list of codes/brands that can be cross-referenced?

Try Goldstar, LG, or Vizio.

Are you able to pick a TV brand at all?

Yes, I've tried around 20 different brands. Gone through all the codes for each brand and none has 'stopped the music'. 

One code from Curtis and one from another brand (can't remember) changed the channel and activated some smart feature on the tv. But none has controlled the volume like it's supposed to happen in the setup wizard.

If its older enough, try Proscan.

Ah - ProScan was the one that activated the smart feature. But no luck muting the music. 

The TV is from 2021.
