The Voice Remote Pro is still a Voice Remote.

This Voice remote page contains a chart of which Roku models support a Voice remote:

Find your Roku model number via Settings -- System -- About.

My young son used to hide the remotes too.

Fixed it by wiring the remote to a metal baking tray, about 7 x 10 inches. No more lost remotes.
