New 4 series Roku hisence came with basic remote. I bought roku remote new, exactly the same thing with microphone.  Paired easily, works all features but no voice command works.  No internet,  does voice require internet?

Thanks for the inquiry.

In order to use voice commands with a Voice remote, a wireless network connectivity will be required.
