My cat loves to sit on my nice warm Roku Ultra, and she usually manages to trigger the remote finder button, which causes the remote (which is sitting right where I can easily find it on my desk) to ding incessantly.

Is there any way to disable that function in the Roku settings?

None that I know of.  Can only change the sound of the the locator from sonar, whistle, or referee whistle.  Short of using a universal remote (if you don't mind the cat sitting on the Ultra) I think that's it.  The universal remote wouldn't be recognized by the ultra's locate feature.

I guess you could also fashion a little raised cover over the locate button so it couldn't be pressed down also.  Little piece of foam or plastic.
