I have tried to pair both of my enhanced remote with this streaming device listed above. Neither will pair with it. Both devices will pair with another streaming device on my living room TV. I have changed batteries and unplugged and reset all the devices several times with no results. When I reset the device listed it connects to the TV via HDMI 1 and the Roku logo shows up on the screen and the language menu opens but it will not pair with either remote.

What's the model number displayed under Settings->System->About?

I cannot access settings because the remote will not pair with the device. When I reset the device and put the remote in pairing mode the screen shows Roku but then goes to the choose language menu but never pairs with the remote so I am unable to select anything.

What kind of roku is it? Roku tv, Roku stick, or what? What is model number of the remotes, found in the battery compartment? You might be trying to pair a old bluetooth remote to roku that only responds to wifi remotes?

This is the remote and the bottom of the device. The device is flat on the top also.

The Premier looks like the one I have I do not have the original packaging.

Just above the sn look for model number like 3700x, 3920x, or so? A 3700 or 3710 express & express+ will not pair with any wifi remote, they're strictly IR remote controllable.

You can also buy a basic 3rd party universal remote at a local retailer. You can probably find something for around $10 or so.

Is this remote control Wi-Fi? How can I tell?
