Charge voice remote pro using a Roku Ultra

Has anyone tried charging their voice remote pro using the USB port on the back of a Roku Ultra?

I haven’t, the USB port on the Ultra outputs 1.1 Amps so it should charge, it would just take some time.

Your question made me curious. I've never considered getting the rechargeable remote since my battery life on remotes is excellent, but being able to charge without taking up an outlet is interesting.
