I have a RC 833 remote with a button that is not working so i bought a replacement RCC1RW and it wont pair/work. Did i buy wrong replacement or should this work?

The Roku remote RCC1RW (https://www.roku.com/products/accessories/roku-tv-remote) is for RokuTVs only.

For Roku streaming players, will need to purchase at least the Roku Players Remote. (or Voice Remote). (https://www.roku.com/products/accessories/roku-simple-remote).

For Roku Streaming Sticks, will need to purchase a Voice Remote or Voice Remote Pro since the Stick models rely on RF/wifi communication.
