Last year there were few Canadians complaining about the 1 & 2 keys no longer working after an update. About the same time here in the US we lost IR commands of the 1 & 2 keys. Along with a third one, that was only available from certain universal remotes. Nothing you can do, its up to Roku to restore this feature up in Canada.

Probably because there aren’t much Canadian Roku users that have a Voice Remote Pro.  ~ Jordan

I’m into videotapes and old electronics stuff, including extenders, converters and analog 4:3 TV sets (which are obsolete these days), and Miss Bianca is my favorite character in Disney’s The Rescuers (1977) and its sequel, The Rescuers Down Under (1990). The voice pro is not the only Roku remote with 1 & 2 keys, the 4670 ultra and 4800 ultra come with remotes with these keys.

The only difference between the remotes, though, appears to be the batteries.  On the Voice Pro, the batteries used are the USB-powered rechargeable ones.  However, on the 4600 and 4800 remotes, the batteries are still the physical replaceable ones.
