I have two Express Plus units and their remotes that allow volume and power control. I purchased a third, but it was an Express unit. I didn’t know the remote wouldn’t allow volume and power control. I thought the difference was the microphone feature. Can I program the Express Plus remote to work with an Express unit?
Not if the express is 3700, newer express then yes it can be paired to the express+ remote. If you go into the settings of the express and don't see a remote & devices option then it can't be used with voice remote.
