Audio Jack not working on roku premiere box

I paired my old roku 4200 remote to my new roku premiere. I can use old remote to select channels but when I tried to use private listening headphone jack, I got no sound. Big disappointment because I love the audio Jack on old roku remote. ##oldremoteonrokupremiere

Premiere has never worked with headphone jack on the remote, the premiere+ was the cut off. But that changed with the release of the voice pro rechargeable remote, it does work with premiere Roku and suddenly older remotes did too, but that can have changed again with an upgrade.
