I am in the process of cutting the cord for the first time after 22+ years with the same satellite provider. I have a current video distribution system that allows me to send one satellite receiver output to 4 additional TVs and I use separate RF satellite box remotes for each individual TV and since the TV settings are stored within the actual remote control I can also turn the TV on/off and adjust volume. If I hook up a new Roku Ultra to my existing video distribution system and buy 3 additional Roku remotes will I be able to program each Roku remote to control the Ultra (over wifi I assume) and also control my separate TV's power and volume?
Theorically yes, that is the way it should work. With recent posts of the roku software not recognizing any tv brand thown at it, who knows.
