Hi I moved in the last month and have several Rokus including an old Roku 2. For some reason I cannot get it to pair the Roku 2 with its remote and I know the remote works because I am able to pair it with other Rokus.

When I try setting up the Roku 2 (hit the reset button) and try pairing it with the remote I simply get the blinking green light and the screen where it tries to pair for 3 seconds but it never pairs properly  

Any help would be appreciated

Hi! I recently moved and my Roku worked fine before but now my remote won’t pair to my Roku stick. I’ve done the unplug, take out (and replaced with new)batteries, then plug it back in and put batteries back in but no pairing screen comes up. I wasn’t able to connect it to the new Wi-Fi so I can’t even do any controls on my phone because it can’t find the tv. Any help would be appreciated. I have the enhanced remote!

If you are still unable to resolve the issue, can you please provide the serial number/device ID on your Roku device? I'll be able to assist you further from there.

I'm still unable to pair it even with following the instructions on the page.

My Roku 2 XS serial # is 13C1C6110786

The roku 2 xs only pairs to bluetooth remote, it won't work with modern wifi-direct remotes. So stop trying. It has to be the GR14 remote., no volume keys, no headphone jack.
