roku ultra lt batteries dying when using earphone plugs

Jump to solution

I seem to go through batteries in a week if I use the earphone plug to listen to the movies 2 or three hours a day.  Is that normal ie should the batteries last longer

Yes, using the headphone jack that often will drain the batteries real fast. Nothing's wrong with remote.

Be sure to unplug the earphones from the remote when not in use. The earphone amplifier in the remote is on and drawing power whenever the earphones are plugged in.
