The remote recently started to not work at times, buttons pressed but no response, new batteries - no difference. Streaming stick with USB power from Samsung TV always responds to on/off, but OK and arrow buttons don't always respond and are very slow to respond when they do. Fast forward, play, and rewind are the same.

Can you replace the remote under warranty? Other thoughts?
Yes, remotes can be replaced under warranty. But the 3800 is a 3 year old device, and I believe the warranty is for one year. The good news is that replacement remotes are available for that model of Stick.
If you've owned yours for less than a year, you can likely get warranty service if you have your proof of purchase.
