Which remote has the "find remote" feature?

I've already lost 2 Roku remotes. We have a TCL tv, 7000x (something like that.) I'm told the newer remotes have the "find remote" feature. Is this just the $30 enhanced remote? or does the $20 voice remote have it, too? Does the feature work well? Is it worth buying? Otherwise, I'll just buy another $6 replacement remote.

Re: Which remote has the "find remote" feature?

Do you have a find remote button on your TV?  If you don't, I don’t know that a "findable" remote would do much good.

Re: Which remote has the "find remote" feature?

As far as I know, the Roku Ultra device is the only current model that has a "find remote" feature, a button on top of the device.  I don't know which remote(s) this feature works with, but @Tivoburkee is the remote expert that frequents here (and several other audio-visual related forums).  He'll probably pop in with more information.

That would be a neat feature to add to the Roku app on a cell phone, though (are you listening @RokuDanny-R ?)

Yes, only the roku ultra has that feature, no roku tv's.
