If that doesn't work, you'll need to try again, only this time, you'll use the second one.
For example, when you go through setup, and it mutes volume, but the remote isn't quite right, you'll do it again. This second time, when it asks if it muted the music, use the TV remote to un-mute, then tell the Roku "no." Continue to the next time it mutes and see if that does the trick.
If not, try again, only this time un-mute twice, telling "no" each time, and proceed to the third time.
Do this again and again until you either run out of configurations for that brand, or one works.
