Ultra is draining batteries - using earphones

Jump to solution

Batteries last about 10 days

If i unplug earphones it lasts about 3 weeks. If i forget, i.e. fall asleep, batteries just die.

I am happy to buy new remote but this seems like a production or design error.

I saw similar posts and roku employee said send personal message. I couldn't figure out how to do that.

Earphones drain the batteries quickly. The earphone driver/amplifier in tbe remote is activated whenever the 'phones are plugged in.

Yes completely agree went to this format for TV to save money and been buying piles of batteries and replacing remote batteries once a week, I just sent customer service an email. Hopefully there’s a solution for this

This is crazy. I don't use the earphones all the time, but i do use them. Batteries i put in on 5/23 are already drained on 6/1. This is my third Roku. I got this one specifically for the earphones but this is a mess.

Make sure you're unplugging the ear phones when you're done streaming or not using them.
