It’s not letting me connect my TV to the mobile remote. It’s saying it can’t find it, I am “tech savvy” & have tried everything I could think of. I even factory reset the tv.

This sounds stupid but try fresh batterys in the remote.
You didnt mention the Specific TV brand or Model.
You can also reset remotes.
Make sure NOTHING is between the TV and remote.
Does the TV react in any way?
Whatever Brand Smart TV you have you need to pair them.
You can buy Universal Remotes or order a new one if that is the problem.
Have you Barfed on your remote recently?
I dont think its clear what and which Hardware we are dealing with.
