Um, that's not a reset button on the remote. It's a pairing button. They are not the same thing.
I bring that up because if you've followed instructions, and did actions using that, thinking it was a reset buttons, then the instructions wouldn't work.
With that knowledge -- that the reset button on a Roku is actually on the Roku device (could be a pinhole, depending on model) and the button on the remote is pairing, not reset -- try your steps again.
