Roku Ultra with 220V?

Does anyone know if the power adapter for the Roku Ultra 2019 works with both 110v and 220v?

Re: Roku Ultra with 220V?

You can't even plug it into 220, but if you could it wouldn't last a second.

Re: Roku Ultra with 220V?

Look closely at the power brick. The text is likely very tiny. If it's labeled 110-220v, you're fine. But if it doesn't specifically list 220v, then it's not dual volt. Many power supplies like this are dual voltage, but don't depend on it without checking.

Re: Roku Ultra with 220V?

I am looking to upgrade my Roku to the Ultra, but I don't have it currently.  This is why I am asking if the power pack is dual voltage, as I cannot look myself.  Do you have this device?  Are you able to see if the power pack is dual voltage?

Re: Roku Ultra with 220V?

Yes, I have an Ultra, but it's the 4640, not the latest model. While there most likely isn't any difference, I can't say that for sure. But I'll check mine when I get home this evening.

Don't forget that if you buy a Roku in North America, it won't have the correct plug for UK or Europe, even if it does support 220v. You'll need an adapter.

Fair enough. Looks like they aren't dual voltage. Would make a nice little puff of smoke if one tried, I suppose. Smiley LOL

That just means yours came with a wall connection that supports 220v. The original poster never specified where they were located. Any Roku sold in a particular location will have a power adapter suitable for that location. Smiley Happy

Re: Roku Ultra with 220V?

I bought mine in Best buy in Florida. before I moved to Europe, before that I traveled with it to EU. Straight out of the box in the USA without a issue will work on 220V. I have 2 of them. I can only speak for the Ultra
