Roku Ultra remote when using headphones batteries drain quickly

Jump to solution

Model 4800X - Roku Ultra...when using headphones, batteries drain in a day or so. I couldn't find where this question was posted before so I apologize for reposting the same question again. Is there a fix to this?

Remove the headphones when you're finished streaming.  As long as the headphones are plugged in it will drain the batteries.

@Greg48

Thanks for the post.

Please be aware that if you are using the Private Listening function with your remote, it will use significantly more battery power than not using it. In addition, when done streaming, make sure that you unplug your headphones as to avoid unwanted remote battery drain.

Thanks,
Danny
