Roku TV batteries dying within a week

Hello,

 

The batteries on my Roku TV remote die within a week. I hav tried multiple batteries, reset the remote and tried other various things. Any help will be appreciated.

Please contact your TV's manufacturer directly to report this issue and request additional support. Each Roku TV manufacturer provides direct support and warranty services for their products running the Roku OS. 

If you need a replacement remote for a Roku TV, you would need to contact your TV manufacturer. For a list of Roku TV manufacturer contact information, visit our Community post here: Contacting Support for Your Roku TV

I am having the same problem. I have replaced the batteries in the remote more times than I can count. This thing is ridiculous and you can’t be expected to use your phone as a remote the whole time.

Switch to universal like One-For-All urc-7935 streamer remote, you can find them on ebay for around $10 open box. Its one device remote that control three types of devices, Streamer, tv, and soundbar. And its a learning remote too.
